Nominations for Round 1 of the Victorian Formula 500 Jettco Triple Crown Series to be held on 8th February 2014 at Avalon Speedway have now closed.
Broadwood Family Racing has greeted the 2014 calendar year with a real mix of fortune, following the Sprintcar Muster event at the Perth Motorplex on January 3 & 4 and Round five of the West Coast Series at Albany Speedway on January 18.

The Victorian Formula 500 State Championship is to be held this Saturday 18th January 2014 at Simpson Speedway.
Heading into the Formula 500 Speedweek Series, Cody Maroske was aiming to be a competitive force, but by the end of the series, he had managed to exceed expectations in impressive style.
The next Victorian Formula 500 Assn General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 15 January 2014 at the Mount Moriac Hotel, 1115 Princes Highway, Moriac commencing at 7.45 pm.
Troy Johnson did what he had been threatening to do all season, when he claimed the win in the tenth annual Sprintcar Muster feature race for Formula 500's over last weekend. After a string of podium finishes this season, Johnson dominated the fifteen lap feature to take the win and in the process take the outright lead in the Perth Motorplex Track Championship after being tied in points with Jason Priolo after the night one preliminary feature.
