Steven Ellement last night raced his way to two wins in a row as he claimed the King of Kwinana feature ahead of thirty two other drivers.
A huge field of thirty six Formulas have nominated for this weekends King of Kwinana event at the Perth Motorplex and its certainly not going to be easy to pick a winner.
The new 2013/14 Formula 500 racing season has greeted the Broadwood Family Racing team with a mixed bag of results, following the opening two rounds of the West Coast Series at Geraldton and Manjimup Speedways over the past two weekends.
The Whyalla wizard, Angelo Karoussis powered his Able Transport s27 Stallard to victory in the MJM Abrasive Blasting, Formula 500 Christmas Cup at Speedway City last Saturday night in front of a large crowd and stellar field. Karoussis had a successful night after claiming a heat win which set him up from the pole for the feature where he was never headed.

After finishing second in the feature race just last week at Geraldton, Steven Ellement has this weekend gone one better as he claimed the feature race in round two of the Racemate West Coast Series at Manjimup Speedway. In fact Ellement was unbeaten throughout the nights racing, with no one quite able to match his speed.
Round 2 of the Victorian Formula 500 BargainBikeGear.com.au Stampede Series is on this Saturday 23th November at Avalon Raceway.
After a break of a couple of seasons, the Fast Flying Formula 500’s return to Speedway City this Saturday night for the 2013 MJM Abrasive Blasting Formula 500 Christmas Cup.
The next Victorian Formula 500 Assn General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 20 November 2013 at the Mount Moriac Hotel, 1115 Princes Highway, Moriac commencing at 7.45 pm.
This weekend will see the pocket rocket Formula 500’s return to one of the fastest tracks in Australia, Manjimup Speedway, this time for the second round of the 2013/14 West Coast Series.

Unfortunately, due to heavy rain and the prospect of a sodden track, Southern 500 Speedway Portland have cancelled tomorrows meeting.
The Geraldton City Speedway will this weekend play host to a solid field of the pocket rocket Formula 500's, with the venue holding the opening round of the popular West Coast Series.
With Round 1 of the Victorian Formula 500 BargainBikeGear.com.au Stampede Series ready to roll this Saturday 9 Nov at Portland, who can get a good start after the awesome final finish last season. Andrew Rae V96 won the series with a close second by Mat Turner V32 and Steven Horton V91 third.
