Hallett sweeps the city

Ellement wins heated battle!
O'Keeffe drove a faultless race as he survived numerous restarts as well as heavy pressure from Andrew Priolo in the reduced ten lap final to record a fine victory and set up some good confidence going into the final night tonight and also the Australian Championship to be held in less that three weeks. Priolo held on for second while Steven Ellement grabbed third place.
The good 2013-14 season form continued for Cody Maroske last Saturday night at Archerfield Speedway; after he drove to victory in the latest round of the Tyrepower 600 Series for Formula 500s.
After six rounds of the 2013-14 season Tyrepower 600 Series for Formula 500s, there remains only one repeat round winner – Ryan Skennar. Last Saturday night at Archerfield Speedway, Cody Maroske was the latest driver to appear in victory lane.
This weekend will see the Formula 500's competing at the Perth Motorplex in a two night show which will be the last official hitout for the division before the Washpod Australian Championship on the 14th and 15th of March.
Broadwood Family Racing has completed the seventh round of the West Coast Series with a hard fought podium finish at Geraldton Speedway last Saturday night (February 15). The BFR car was fast all night, picking up the fastest lap times in two heats and lined up third for the feature. We had an early battle with David Sinagra before getting away to post a solid third place behind Thomas Davies and Brock Nanovich in the curfew shortened main event.
The next Victorian Formula 500 Assn General Meeting has been put back a week due to the venue being unavailable.
Round 5 of the Victorian Formula 500 Bargainbikegear.com.au Stampede Series is this Saturday 22nd February 2014 at Wangaratta.
Davies grabs second WCS feature!
Sonic Speedway, Swan Hill was the venue for Round 4 of the Victorian Formula 500 Bargainbikegear.com.au Stampede Series last Saturday.
The Racemate West Coast Series will this weekend return to Geraldton for round six of the eight round West Coast Series.
With the Washpod Australian Formula 500 Championship for season 2013/14 season just 30 days away the event is starting to kick into high gear.
Racing will be heating up at Sonic Speedway Swan Hill this weekend (15th Feb 2014), when the Formula 500's take to the track to contest Round 4 of the Bargain Bike Gear Stampede series.
Round 1 of the Victorian Formula 500 Jettco Triple Crown Series was raced last weekend at Avalon.
