Nominations are now open for Round 3 (and the final round) of the Victorian Formula 500 Jettco Triple Crown Series at Mid Western Speedway, Darlington on 10 May 2014.
The inaugural running of the Twin City Challenge for Formula 500s, supported by KRE Race Engines, saw Dale Shilleto and Ryan Skennar share round wins, but it was Shilleto who managed to come out on top in the overall point standings.
Although he couldn't improve on his second place in the Perth Motorplex Track Championship, Thomas Davies certainly gave it his all over the past two nights and has claimed the last two feature races of season 2013/14 for the Formula 500's.
Last Saturday night at the Perth Motorplex Andrew Priolo claimed yet another win for the season, making it his second for the season at the Perth Motorplex and his seventh podium finish out of eleven races; in the process extending his points lead in the Perth Motorplex Track Championship.

Round 2 of the Victorian Formula 500 Assn Jettco Triple Crown Series was raced last night at the Heytesbury Stockfeed Simpson Speedway.
The next Victorian Formula 500 General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 16 April 2014 at the Mount Moriac Hotel, 1115 Princes Highway, Moriac commencing at 7.45 pm.
After three weeks off, the WA Formula 500 brigade is returning to action for the third last official night of action of the season this weekend at the Perth Motorplex.
For only the second occasion in the 2013-14 season, the Tyrepower 600 Series (Formula 500s) has produced multiple round winners, and that honour was achieved in last Saturday night’s eighth round at Kingaroy Speedway by Charlie Brown.
