Sinclair Takes Fgbmfi.org F500 Stampede Series Round 3 Win

Former Stampede Series champion Dale Sinclair took an all the way win last Saturday night in Round 3 of the FGBMFI.org F500 Stampede Series at Hamilton’s Western Speedway.
Sinclair led defending champ James Aranyosi to the line with Jye O’Keeffe and Will Carroll completing the podium.

Sinclair was in a league of his own throughout the night picking up 2 heat wins as well. Sinclair shared the front row with Aranyosi and sped away at the start of the race. With cars in heavy lap traffic O’Keeffe seized the opportunity and passed Aranyosi for second and set out for Sinclair.

In sight of the chequered flag O’Keeffe’s car seemed to slow with chain issues with Aranyosi passing him just before the finish line. Carroll meanwhile continued his recent good form finishing 4th. Ash Sinclair completed a great night for the Sinclair Brothers finishing 5th. He was joined by Mat Turner, Mitch Whiting, AJ Blackstock, Shane Van Duynhoven and Tyler Carter rounding out the top 10.

Steven Horton finished in 11th. Justin Sadler was next in 12th. He was followed by Rod Barker in the Leigh Van Ginneken owned V15, Robert Trewartha and Andrew Morton rounding out the finishers. Jarryd Irving finished on the infield. He was joined by Kevin Freeman who returned to the seat after almost 2 years out.

Van Duynhoven won the B-Main in advance of Whiting, Trewartha, Carter, Irving and Barker. Adam Turner finished on the infield after rear end dramas. He was joined by rookie Mathew Symons, Chris Heard in the Grant Stansfield owned SA29 and Freeman. With 1 car missing the start of the B-Main all cars that took the green could start the A-Main. Unfortunately due to the damage Adam Turner and Symons were unable to take the A-Main green.

Dale Sinclair took the win in heat 1. He was followed by Morton and Mat Turner. Heat 2 went to Aranyosi with Horton and Brett Dillon following. Will Carroll took an all the way win in heat 3. O’Keeffe and Blackstock rounded out the top 3. Dale Sinclair led his Brother Ash to the line in heat 4. Aranyosi finished 3rd.
