F500’s Wa – Wcs Rd6 Bunbury

F500’s WA prepare for the penultimate round of the West Coast Series this Saturday the 11th of February, supporting World Series Sprintcars at Bunbury Speedway.

With Northam Motorsports cancelling Round 7 – this round leaves only Manjimup scheduled to host the final WCS round mid-April.

With a measly 12 points separating first and 1st in the 2nd, and only 3 points between 3rd and 4th, this round could clearly define the final championship results, on the fast and demanding Bunbury track.

David Sinagra enters the meeting with the highest driver rating, after winning his first WA State Title at Collie Speedway last weekend, and as points leader of the WCS. Sinagra will unveil the #1 on his championship winning HRC chassis – a testament to the exceptional form Sinagra currently is experiencing. With 4 feature wins under his belt thus far this season, Sinagra is the man to catch in Bunbury.

Matt Brown joins the WCS round following a podium result last weekend at the State Title. With big horsepower on tap, a long and fast Bunbury circuit, and the experience and race-craft the former National and State title winning Brown has in spades, Brown will be first in line to challenge Sinagra this weekend.

Mark House enters the weekend second in WCS points after a solid Australia Day weekend, picking up a win in Kalgoorlie, jumping up from 4th in the Championship.

Aaron Higgins and Jason Pryde go into the weekend very close on points in 3rd and 4th. Higgins has had a horror run of engine issues in the previous two rounds, and expects to have overcome these technical issues to be back at the front this weekend. Pryde continually shows he has the car speed, and with some consistency back in his game, he too should be at the front.

American AJ Hopkins returns to Bunbury after winning the WCS round there last year. The Terry Kowal owned car has been repaired after a heavy hit in Collie last weekend, and Hopkins is looking forward to turning some fast laps at a track he has a perfect record at.
