Organisers can guarantee fireworks will explode at the Makit Narrogin Hardware Speedway next Saturday night, 28th April, where the 30th running of the Janssen Transport Service sponsored Bunny Burrowes Memorial will take place.
The meeting is Narrogin's final meeting for this season and will conclude with a great fireworks display that has become an annual affair with the locals.

Fireworks should also be seen on the track with the $10,000, $5,000 to the winner drawing one of the best line ups in WA's Formula 500 history. Jye O'keeffe (V1 & ACT1), Charlie Brown (Q1 & NSW1), Liam Williams (SA1), Rob Trewartha, AJ Blackstock & Jettco guru Stephen Bell will all venture across the border for the big show. Add our own WA1 David Sinagra, former Australian Champion & Oval Express Series winner in Matt Brown, two time WA State Champion Steven Ellement, previous BBM Champion Brad Warick, local track hero Thomas Davies plus many other fine WA drivers...with a field like that the huge crowd that is expected will be in for a great treat.

A field in excess of 40 Formula 500 drivers is anticipated and there can only be one winner. Can Matt Brown become only the second father & son winner of the event, dad Robbie 1984 Champion or what about Craig Bottrell with dad Rod being the inaugural winner in 1983. Rod will once again be our Chief Steward for the event. The only other combination that have won the event are all the Harding's, Trevor (2002), Trevor Jr (2010) & Daniel (2011) who have moved onto the sprintcar ranks and won't be competing this year. Can Ellement win it for the second time? What about Wayne Dymock, currently in fine form. So many what ifs!
