The 2012 Perth TQ Car Club Formula 500 Open Championships proudly supported by Tucker Time for Pets will be held this Saturday afternoon at Kellerberrin “Windy Hill” Speedway.

This weekend’s championships will carry the customary $3000 cash prize money courtesy of the club’s many sponsors. $1000 will go to the winner. This event will also carry points for Round 6 of the PTQCC Tucker Time for Pets F500 Series.

A quality field has already entered for the event with late nominations being expected by the organisers right up until race day. Heading the nominations is former National champion Matt Brown who earlier this year took out the annual Bunny Burrowes Memorial against some of Australia’s best drivers Formula 500 drivers.

Jason Pryde who won the last round of the Tucker Time for Pets Series at Kellerberrin will be one of the drivers with a good chance of a strong result along with Brock Nanovich, Aaron Fullgrabe, Sarah Zemunik & Troy Johnson who have all done a lot of racing during the winter months at Kellerberrin.

Racing gets underway from 12pm this Saturday afternoon at Kellerberrin Speedway with a number of support divisions also racing on the day.
