Matt Brown Wins Ptqcc Formula 500 Open Championships



Matt Brown has won the 2012 Tucker Time for Pets PTQCC F500 Open Championships against a quality field of drivers.
The event also doubled as the George Cole Perpetual Trophy and was held at Kellerberrin “Windy Hill” Speedway situated 200km North East of Perth. In winning the open championships Brown collected $1000 cash with youngsters Cody Turrachio & Matt Higgs finishing second & third respectively.

Jason Pryde, Brett Janssen, Brock Nanovich, Aaron Fullgrabe, Troy Johnson, Todd Broadwood & veteran Bill Richards rounded out the top ten in the twenty lap final that went green to the chequered flag without a stoppage.

Brent Lockwood who showed good form throughout the day was the only driver not to start the feature race after suffering major mechanical dramas while a long way in front of the field in his last heat race of the day.
