Jason Pryde Takes Top Honours at PTQCC Awards Night
Jason Pryde was the big winner at the Perth TQ Car Club awards night held at South Fremantle Football Club on Saturday Night
Pryde took out the 1st place trophies for Feature Races & Heat races for the 2012 season with the his combined points giving him the win in the Tucker Time For Pets sponsored PTQCC series.
The 2012 Tucker Time For Pets Formula 500 Series conducted by the Perth TQ Car Club was held over seven rounds during the winter months with five race meetings held at Kellerberrin Speedway and the remaining two held at Narrogin Speedway.
Veteran driver Bill Richards was judged to be the Fairest & Best competitor in Formula 500s with Brock Nanovich winning the Bill Garrity Memorial award for the Most Improved Driver.
Brett Janssen took out the Norm Kemp Memorial Driver’s Driver Award with Janssen announcing his retirement from racing on the night. Janssen also announced that Production Sedan standout Barry Rose would be replacing him in the driver’s seat of the Janssen’s Transport Service Hyper next season.
Longtime Perth TQ Car Club administrator and former President Jeff Connelly was recognised for his outstanding contribution to the club and was awarded Life Membership on the night.
Steve Adley the President of the Perth TQ Car Club announced that the 2013 season will begin at Narrogin Speedway on the April 27th 2013 and will feature the 31st running of the prestigious Bunny Burrowes Memorial for Formula 500s.
