The 2012/2013 West Coast Series will commence this weekend at Geraldton speedway in Western Australia. With 19 good quality drivers nominated it will be a very exciting way to begin the series.

Defending West Coat Series Champion David Sinagra will be looking to back up his last years win at Geraldton Speedway, but this is going to be a tough task with the quality of drivers in the field for this weekend.

There is no doubt that Matt Brown who has committed to racing in Western Australia for the current season will be on a charge after coming off a win at the Perth Motorplex Last weekend. The Series is also very excited to see the return of Steven Ellement who has spent the last 12 months racing over parts of Australia and will be a hot favourite to shake up the top end drivers.

The weekend will bring some close racing of some of Australia’s top drivers and there is no doubt that some of the upcoming rookies that will be ready to pounce on the big boys.
