Formula 500’s SA - Scotcher Race Fuels Championship

Stars line up for the Scotcher Race Fuels Championship

Some of the biggest names on Australian formula 500 racing are heading to Murray bridge speedway on February 16 for the Scotcher Race Fuels Murray Bridge Championship.

Making his return to Murray Bridge is some royalty in, “The King” Dylan Willsher who became the King after claiming the King of the Bridge crown in early December. Since then, the young Victorian has been in great form and will be looking to add to his feature race win collection.

Another Victorian Young gun confirmed is Matthew Symons in the v70 machine. Symons had a good Formula 500 Speedweek assault last month and comes into the event in form.

A trio of Northern Territory Stars will also be on hand with the two car team of Joe Orr and Steven Anderson remaining in the state after spending January with the South Australian locals. Both drivers have been quick during their tour of SA and will be on the money again this time. Joining them in South Australia this time will be Alice Springs local, Jordi Little who will be having his first look at the Murray Bridge track.

A host of local stars will also be on hand include Scott Dungey who will be looking to add yet another feature under his belt this season and local Damien Eve who returned to the drivers seat last meeting and will be looking for another solid run.

After spending his time between racing Speedcars and formula 500’s around the country this season is Wingfield resident and former Queenslander Brock Hallett. Hallett is the current South Australian champion after claiming the crown in Mt Gambier in December and was highest points scorer at Gillgandra speedway recently on his way to winning the New South Wales title before rain called a halt to the meeting. The former Australian champion will again be one to watch.

More top names are expected with nominations still open, the field is expected to be one of the best of the season.
