Steven Gay Wins again at Kellerberrin

Steven Gay once again showed why he was regarded as one of the quickest Formula 500 drivers in the nation only a few seasons ago with another fine performance at Kellerberrin Speedway on June 8th.

The meeting was the third event of the 2013 Perth TQ Car Club season and attracted thirteen Formula 500s to the wheatbelt venue. Perfect weather conditions greeted competitors with a wonderfully prepared racetrack provided for the drivers.

2013 Bunny Burrowes Memorial winner Thomas Davies looked to be the man most likely to challenge Steven Gay across the afternoon. Davies day ended in the second heat after suffering a major issue with his engine.

Brent Lockwood and Chris Telenta were very fast early in the day but they would also fail to last the day with mechanical woes.

Steven Gay would win overall for the day with Ricky Drew and newcomer Brad Davidson second and third respectively.
