The Perth TQ Car Club winter season for Formula 500s continued on Saturday afternoon (6th July) at Kellerberrin Speedway.

A bumper field was on hand with organisers splitting the drivers into two heat races per round held with some very competitive racing put on for the large crowd in attendance on what was a beautiful day for speedway.

Ricky Drew and Jeremy Saffin finished the day tied on points with Saffin winning the feature race narrowly over Drew and Adrian Fogliani who was having his first start of the season at Kellerberrin.

Pilbara based driver Ash Kent was impressive throughout the day with former Wingless Sprintcar driver Adrian La Macchia also impressive in what was his first start in a Formula 500.

The Perth TQ Car Club were very pleased with the turnout of Formula 500s and expect a big field to be on hand for the open championship to be held at Kellerberrin Speedway on the 7th September.

The next meeting for the Formula 500s Perth TQ Car Club winter season will be held on the 10th August 2013.
