The rescheduled 2013 Perth TQ Car Club Formula 500 Open Championships will be held this Saturday afternoon at Narrogin Speedway and will feature a $3000 prize pool.
The event was originally schedule to be held at Kellerberrin in early September but heavy rain leading up to the event forced organisers to move the open championships to the final race meeting of the 2013 Perth TQ Car Club season at Narrogin.
Thomas Davies who currently leads the 2013 season point score will start as the favourite for this weekend’s race meeting after winning the Bunny Burrowes Memorial earlier this year at Narrogin.
Steven Gay is another driver who has had a tremendous season and is a likely winner as well as Matt Higgs, Ricky Drew, Adrian Fogliani and Graham Terry to name just a few.
Veteran Brett Janssen will race as number 69 this weekend in memory of his late mate and former sedan racer Ross Hamilton.
Racing gets underway at 1pm this Saturday afternoon at Narrogin Speedway with a full support program.
