Formula 500’s South Australia are very proud to announce that it will again conduct a six round state series to be named the Southern Showdown series.

After an absence of several years, the series will kick off at Murray Machining and Sheds Murray Bridge speedway on October 19 and will take in a round at six different venues through South Australia before the Grand Final at Westline Whyalla Speedway on April 5, ensuring a diverse range of tracks to compete on.

The series will mirror the same dates as the Speedway Australia Rookie of the year series, which will feature larger fields and greater entertainment for spectators

Round 1 - October 19 Murray Machining and Sheds Murray Bridge Speedway
Round 2 - December 14 Tolmer Speedway, Bordertown
Round 3 – January 10 Speedway City, Virginia
Round 4 – January 18 Sunline Speedway, Waikerie
Round 5 – March 9 Riverland Speedway, Renmark
Round 6 – April 5 Westline Whyalla, Speedway
