The 2013/14 Formula 500 summer racing season gets into swing next weekend for Broadwood Family Racing at Geraldton Speedway with the opening round of the West Coast Series on November 9.
After another idle winter, the team will be looking forward to getting some laps under the belt, with the team signed up for the full West Coast Series roster, the season culminating in March with the Australian Formula 500 Title slated for the team’s local track Perth Motorplex.
Off the track over the winter, the team has been busy preparing cars and spare parts for the season ahead. The team is proud to reveal that David Dye’s Perth 3MW have come on board for the first time to partner the team. Based in the busy Perth suburb Osborne Park, Perth 3MW offer sales, repairs and service to the luxury vehicle market.
Perth 3MW join Long Range Automotive, who have been continued backers of the team for some time now. BPA Engineering has also renewed their sponsorship of the team.
Following the opening round of the West Coast Series, attention turns to the second round at Manjimup Speedway the following weekend, November 16. The team then will forward to our first run of the year at the Perth Motorplex, in what will be a big season for the team.
