MJM Abrasive Blasting Formula 500's SA Christmas Cup



After a break of a couple of seasons, the Fast Flying Formula 500’s return to Speedway City this Saturday night for the 2013 MJM Abrasive Blasting Formula 500 Christmas Cup.

Amongst the lead contenders will be Victorian Young Gun, “The King” Dylan Willsher in his DW Motorcycle Repairs V27 Triple X Chassis. Willsher will be looking to make it a hat trick of wins in South Australia this season after already claiming two wins at Murray Bridge Speedway from as many starts. He will also be joined by fellow visiting Victorian’s, Tyler Beasy in his McInerney Freight v10 and rookie, Steven Van Ginneken in the v5 Dutchman Performance house car.

Hoping to stop the interstate invasion will be a host of locals including Angelo Karoussis in the Able Transport s27 Stallard, who will also be looking to win it for the race sponsor and family business, MJM Abrasive Blasting.

Also amongst the top the locals who will be looking for a win will be Scott Dungey in the Coast Yamaha s10 and Josh Michelmore in his Simax Engineering s96 Hyper.

Making their season debut will be Simon Reichelt in the s51 Triple x, Chris Brooks in his Sunnybrae Function Centre 48s Stallard and Jarrod Moore in his brand new s18 Hyper, while Rory Stevens also makes a welcome return.

Three rookies will also take on Speedway City for the first time lead by Mount Gambier native Steph Munn in the Jimmy Tools s44, who will be joined by Jason Norris in the Stevenson Mechanical s26 in his very first race meeting.
