Formula 500's SA -Who will be crowned King??

Young Victorian ace, Dylan Willsher will be hoping history will repeat itself as he tries to become the first driver to go back to back and remain King of the Bridge for another year when the Formula 500s hit the track this Saturday night for the 4th running of the King of the Bridge at Murray Machining and Sheds Murray Bridge Speedway.

This years event has been made possible with support from Speedway Australia, who have again backed the Formula 500's in South Australia, while Scotcher Race Fuels and Oils will be contributing the pole award trophy and KJR Designs have designed the race logo.

Willsher sensationally won last years event after a last corner pass to claim the victory and has claimed two wins in as many races at the venue this season. He is in fine form after claiming second in the New South Wales state championship last weekend.

Hoping to spoil the Victorian's party will be the "Whyalla Wizz" Angelo Karoussis, who claimed the Christmas Cup at Speedway City recently and would have claimed a feature win over Willsher at Murray Bridge at the last outing, before mechanical gremlins set in.

Also looking for revenge will be the reigning Murray Bridge track champion, Scott Dungey. Dungey was leading last years race until Willsher made the last lap pass while negotiating lapped traffic.

A host local South Australians will also be looking for a good result against some of Victoria's best drivers including Jye O'Keeffe, Dale and Ash Sinclair, Jeremy Beddison, Tyler Beasy and Tyler Owen who will be having his first run on the Murray Bridge Clay.

Fans can get "Up close and Personal" with the drivers at the open pit party between 3:30 and 4:30 when drivers will attend an autograph session thanks to Speedway Australia, where they can grab their very own King of the Bridge poster.

Remember, If you can't make it to the track, dont forget to be kept updated on the Formula 500's South Australia face book site.
