Matt Brown last night stepped it up a notch as he claimed the feature race at the Perth Motorplex, outlasting thirty five other competitions as he crossed the line ahead of Andrew and Jason Priolo.

Andrew Priolo was the early leader of the feature after starting on pole position, but Brown ducked underneath him on lap three to claim the lead after originally starting in position three. The yellows came out shortly after, when Peter Blight spun and Ricky Drew had nowhere to go, hitting him hard, forcing both infield. Brown led away but the yellows came out again after an incident on the front straight saw a number of cars stranded across the track.

Brown once again led away before the red lights came on after Brad Pages had a hard rollover in turn four, seeing him eliminated from the race with a significantly damaged car. Brown again led away and went on to cross the line ahead of Andrew Priolo and Jason Priolo who started from position fourteen.

The opening heat of the night saw Thomas Davies claim a good win from Adrian Fogliani and the returning David Sinagra, while the second heat saw Brown take the win from Andrew Priolo and Troy Johnson. Heat three was an impressive effort from Jamie Pages to take the win from Steven Gay and Davies while the final heat was a fast and furious affair that saw Andrew Priolo defeat Jason Priolo and Matt Higgs.
