The Formula 500's have once again nominated in huge numbers for this weekends 10th Annual Sprintcar Muster at the Perth Motorplex. With just seventy days until the Australian Championship, drivers are doing all they can to get as many laps at the Motorplex in and to iron out any issues with their machines.

Matt Brown has claimed the last two feature races at the venue and will be looking to claim his third in a row this weekend in the two night show. Brown sits in third place in the track championship and appears to have sorted all his car issues out and is the one to watch every time he hits the track.

Defending muster champion Andrew Priolo is also in the field and will be looking to recapture some form and claim another win, while his brother and track championship leader Jason Priolo will be looking for another solid weekend to boost his points lead. Troy Johnson sits in second place in the championship and after a string of recent podium finishes will be looking to finally finish on the top step come feature time.

Last years podium for this event saw Andrew Priolo defeat Matt Higgs and Chris Dymock. Higgs has had a quiet but consistent year so far this season and is still sitting in the top ten in the championship and could be a dark horse to come up and claim the win to back up last years finish.

This weekend will also see the first appearances this season of Lizz Plummer, Cody Turrachio and Glenn Holdaway. All three are looking forward to getting back on track and are just some of a whole stack of names ready for action. See you trackside Friday and Saturday for what is sure to be a huge weekend!
