For those travelling to Perth for the up-coming Australian title, the following information is to help you select appropriate accommodation.

Perth Motorplex is located on the corner of Anketell road and Rockingham road in the Perth suburb of Kwinana Beach. The Motorplex is easily accessible via the Kwinana freeway which travels directly south from the city itself. The Motorplex is 40kms (about 30mins drive) from Perth. The areas surrounding the Motorplex including Kwinana, Kwinana beach and Medina are heavy industrial and are not suggested for accommodation.

Rockingham city is just a short drive of 10-12mins south of the Motorplex and has many accommodation sites along with a cafe strip, nice beach and major shopping centre.

For those looking a little closer to Perth, Fremantle is 20kms north of the Motorplex (25mins drive) and boasts some of the nicest beaches and classic pubs in Perth. Along with the heritage listed Prison and cafe strip there is plenty to do and see around Fremantle and with Perth just 25 mins away, it's ideally located.


If you're planning on heading south to Bunbury or Margaret River before or after the title then Mandurah city may be an ideal spot to stay. It's 40kms south of the Motorplex and also easily accessible via the Kwinana freeway. Mandurah also has nice beaches, pubs and a cafe strip along with a shopping centre with plenty of accommodation sites. Mandurah to Perth is about a 50 minute drive.

For those set up to camp out, the Motorplex allows on site camping and has all amenities on site. The Motorplex has car washing facilities, there is also a carwash on the opposite corner of Anketell road to the Motorplex.
