Formula 500 WA - Racemate West Coast Series Round 5

Here we come Albany!

The battle for the Racemate West Coast Series crown intensifies this weekend as we reach the halfway point with round five at Albany's Attwell Park Speedway.

With five drivers locked together at the top of the points tree it's still anyone game and all it takes is one bad night to drop back down the standings.

Andrew Priolo, Thomas Davies, Troy Johnson, Steven Ellement and Brock Nanovich are all within grasp of each other at the top, but that will change this weekend, with Steven Ellement once again not nominated due to working commitments.

Ellement won the last round at Bunbury Speedway ahead of Troy Johnson and Jason Priolo, making it his second round win while Thomas Davies and Andrew Priolo have each won one each.

Davies and Andrew Priolo would love nothing more than to claim a second win, but they will be forced to fight for it as Johnson and Jason Priolo search for their first win after a number of podium between them.

Also searching for some big results will be David Sinagra who led last weeks feature before blowing an engine and Brendan Condren who has been consistently fast all season.

Throw into the mix the very impressive Nardini brothers, the in form Todd Broadwood and the ever consistent Adrian Fogliani plus a whole host of others and Albany is in for a real treat this Saturday night!
