The inaugural Victorian Formula 500 'Simvegas National Twin Feature' was run and won last weekend at Simpson Speedway.
Each car completed two heats to determine starting positions for the 1st A-Main.
Heat winners were - v50 James Aranyosi, v31 Chris Bellman, v52 Shane Van Duynhoven & v99 Tyler Owen.
After the 15 lap 1st A-Main, the cars pulled infield where the crews were allowed onto the track to service the cars. The winner of the 1st A-Main, Josh Buckingham drew a number (from 2,4,6 or 8) to determine the starting positions for the 2nd A-Main. The number 8 was drawn which inverted the top 8 cars for the start of the 2nd A-Main. All other positions remained the same.
The 2nd 20 lapper A-Main was won by Shane Van Duynhoven.

After the tallying of points from both A-Mains, the winner of the event went to the v99 car of Tyler Owen, 2nd - Josh Buckingham, 3rd - Shane Van Duynhoven and 4th - Dale Sinclair.
