With the Washpod Australian Formula 500 Championship for season 2013/14 season just 30 days away the event is starting to kick into high gear.

The nominations are now open through the Perth Motorplex and already there has been some big names signalling their intentions of being number one come the end of the feature race on Saturday, the 15th of March.

Of course to do that they need to get through the opening night on Friday the 14th of March, exactly one month from today.

No title would be complete without a Calcutta/launch party, so on Thursday the 13th of March The Left Bank in East Fremantle, right on the banks of the Swan River will play host to what is set to be a huge event. Make sure you head down and meet your favourite drivers and get to know them over a quiet drink.

Also available will be the official Washpod Australian Formula 500 Championship t shirts as produced by Oval Track and Diecast. The shirts will be available for sale at the Perth Motorplex on the nights of the title or via their website at www.ovaltrackdiecast.com.au
