Broadwood Family Racing has completed the seventh round of the West Coast Series with a hard fought podium finish at Geraldton Speedway last Saturday night (February 15). The BFR car was fast all night, picking up the fastest lap times in two heats and lined up third for the feature. We had an early battle with David Sinagra before getting away to post a solid third place behind Thomas Davies and Brock Nanovich in the curfew shortened main event.
Heat races were tight with all the cars making the trip to Geraldton being closely matched. We diced our way to fifth in heat one, before a great win and runner-up in the next heats, while the last heat was a bit of a disaster in sixth.

We return to the Perth Motorplex this Friday & Saturday night for the final rounds of the West Coast Series for the season, running in conjunction with World Series Sprintcars where no less than 42 cars are entered.
