With perfect blue skies and no rain in sight, Wangaratta proved to be the ideal venue for another round of the Victorian Formula 500 Bargainbikegear.com.au Stampede Series.
Round 5, held last night, had plenty of thrills and very few spills with James Aranyosi unstoppable in the Feature race. However the battle was on for 2nd position between V32 Mat Turner and V95 Dale Sinclair. Both cars were caught up in lapped traffic and it was Sinclair who finally made the second place finisher, with Turner third.
