Although he couldn't improve on his second place in the Perth Motorplex Track Championship, Thomas Davies certainly gave it his all over the past two nights and has claimed the last two feature races of season 2013/14 for the Formula 500's.
Davies drove a faultless race to claim a solid win in last nights fifteen lap feature, backing up his win the night before. Andrew Priolo went down fighting as he claimed second place and banked his final points that have seen him win the Perth Motorplex Track Championship while Steven Ellement came home third for his seventh podium finish from eight starts this season at the Motorplex. Luke Nardini also came home in fourth, meaning that the top four feature race finishers were a carbon copy of the previous night.
Earlier in the night Davies claimed the opening heat win from Craig Bottrell and Andrew Priolo, then backed it up with a second place in the second heat behind winner Cody Turrachio and in front of third placed Chris Dymock. The final heat of the night was taken out by the very impressive Luke Nardini ahead of Ellement and Jason Priolo.
Although the action has officially finished for the Formulas this season, there is still the final FAST racing series event this Saturday the 26th at the Motorplex, so if you want me more fix of the pocket rockets then head on down!
