A huge season of Formula 500 racing is about to get underway in South Australia when it all kicks off with the traditional opening night at Murray Bridge Speedway on October 4.
Opening night is also round one of the Formula 500's South Australia state championship series is part of a thirteen round series which takes in at least one round at all regular South Australian tracks and finishes in Waikerie on May 16.
Some of the major highlights include a blue ribbon event at every venue while major race dates include The 2014 King of the Bridge on November 22 at Murray Bridge, a back to back World Series Sprintcars support on January 30 and 31 at Murray Bridge Speedway and Speedway City and the 2015 South Australian Championship on February 14 to be held a Murray Bridge Speedway.
The third rookie of the year series kicks off for a five round series starting at Speedway City and taking in Murray Bridge Speedway, Bordertown, Renmark and Waikerie.
In a major initiative, junior Formula 500's will create history when they take to Murray Bridge Speedway on October 18 for their first ever season which will take in ten race meetings all over the state.
