The Flying Formula 500’s are once again heading to the Perth Motorplex and this time they will be celebrating the festive season as twenty three drivers compete for the Christmas Cup!
In what is sure to be a massive show, the defending winner, being Chris Dymock, has nominated and will be hoping to return to form and claim a second festive season win.
Despite it being the season of giving, Dymock will not be gifted the win by his fellow competitors, with any number of drivers hoping to take home the win.
Drivers including Motorplex Track Championship leader Troy Johnson (who has won both Motorplex shows so far this season), Tom Hooper (who has had a third and a second in the features so far) and former Australian Champion Matt Brown are just some of the hopeful drivers competing this weekend for the win.
A whole host of other new drivers have also nominated for the event, with names like Ashley Grant and Nick Bishop making their rookie appearances while drivers the ilk of Glenn Holdaway and Ken Worroll are making their first appearances of the season at the Perth Motorplex.
A number of drivers are having a run the preceding night, this Friday, at the Motorplex in the third round of the FAST Racing Series, so this is another chance to head down and watch some top notch Formula 500 racing.
Make sure you are at the Perth Motorplex this weekend for what is set to be a massive show!
